It is Always the Best Day With You

My sister and I put the card we made on our Father’s side of the bed just before he went inside the room. He lay down but pretended not to notice the card. My mom, sister and I were all laughing. We then handed the card to him. I felt joy as he lighted up with a huge smile in his face (which he doesn’t usually do). He read the letter, then the “gift certificate” my mom made for a new pair of shoes. He was laughing, which made us laugh as well.

Father. Father. Father. What is a father? Well, anyone could be a father, as long as he is hardworking, protective, supportive, disciplined, understanding and of course, loving. And, my father is like that. Edbert G. Buclatin is best father anyone could have. Though he may be strict at times, I know he’s just doing and saying these things for me. He is always there for me and for that, I say, thank you Daddy.

I still, remember, when I was younger, he would carry me all around and hug and pat me to sleep. I miss those days when I was not a pain. But I can’t help it, I’m a growing and changing teenager. I’m just sorry for everything that I did to hurt or get you angry.

And when you’re getting old and grey, do not worry, I’ll be always right here beside you, just like you were always there beside me. You never failed to show your love, and I will never fail to show my love for you as well. You are such a great father, friend, brother and husband, thank you very much, I love you, Daddy. ♥ :*

The Start of Something New

Oh yeah. Two years left! \m/
Two years of high school, DONE!
Only two more years left ‘till I finish high school. The past two years have been a blur. Time flies so fast. And now in my third year, there are a LOT of new things-- new teachers, new subjects, new lessons, new classmates, new room, new building, NEW EVERYTHING!  It makes me nervous yet at the same time, really excited.

There are a lot of stories from my friends, now in their fourth year, that third year is the most difficult year of all. Well, for me, my first year was the most difficult since there were a lot to get used to. So far, my junior year has not been that hard, but at the same time, not that easy. There are some teachers who are really strict and seem scary. Some subjects are not that enjoyable, in other words--boring. Research is really challenging because it’s tough thinking of a title, which is the subject of the research. I also knew that I would really be challenged because there are a lot of math in our subjects, namely, Mathematics III, Analytic Geometry, Advanced Statistics, Chemistry and Physics.

Still, I’ve been enjoying every bit of my junior year, with my old and new classmates, and with my new teachers. Learning and laughing with them has been a blast these past two weeks.  Though some problems came, they were also resolved easily. Well, we are just trying to find color in this black and white world. And I do hope my initial dread of having a really difficult junior year will change into a really enjoyable one! :D
