Aaaah. The airport. The start of a new adventure awaits me. I was walking on the way to my airplane when an old-fashioned one landed near me. Inside, was Amelia Earhart, the famous American aviation pioneer and author. She got off her plane then started walking towards me. I stood there starstruck by her. I admired her as a pilot with her record-breaking feats and as female role-model.
Amelia grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me, saying, "Do you want to have the adventure of a lifetime? Come fly with me!". I, of course, agreed. Who wouldn't want to fly with a world-famous pilot? I brought my things with me while I got on her plane. I introduced my self to her and told how I admired her for the records she broke. Just after a short moment, I found myself laughing with her just like we've known each other for year. The story of her first "flight" off the ramp on top of her family's tool shed was a really funny one. She even described her fall like flying to her sister, nicknamed Pidge.
I offered her a snack from the one's I brought along. We ate while she told stories of her travels. Halfway through the story of her transatlantic solo flight, I saw the sun setting. Time really flies when you're having so much fun. I quickly grabbed my camera to get a shot of it. The sky was breathtaking in place we were flying in. I also found out that Amelia liked the colors of the sunset. The vivid reds were very beautiful, indeed.
Amelia then lowered her plane for it was going to be dark soon. We searched for a nearby airport but all we found was water. There was no radio signals as well. I was scared. Air turbulence shook the plane. I grabbed a hold of anything I can. I felt the plane descend. We were going to fall straight in the ocean. It was inevitable, we were going to die. I thanked Amelia for the great day and thanked God for my life. I felt water surround me. I felt my breath leave my lungs for the last time.
I woke up and saw myself in my room. Woah, this was all just a dream. It was so real. That day with Amelia Earhart was one of the most fun I have ever had.
